Happy anniversary darling...

So tomorrow is 3 years of our marriage.  August also mark the ninth years we are together.  Baru 9 tahun, kan, and many years to come inshaAllah.  Kalau ingat saat mula- mula kenal dulu... dan zaman- zaman bercinta dulu... Alahai.  He actually thought the sight of me mencuci tingkap (masa kerja kat kedai 24 hours convenience store) was cute.  I bet he doesn't think that now hehehe.  Teringat jugak our first date, and since that first date memang dah tau I wana see him again.

Malas nak buat entry banyak- banyak... Just wana tell you I still love like all those years, despite our differences.  In fact I love you more everyday.  Thank you sayang for being there for me, jadi tempat mengadu, my shoulders to cry on.  There's no one like you (Even though at times bila marah I thought that your life's purpose is to annoy me, :p ).  I won't exchange this life with you for anything.  I won't exchange you for anything.  InshaAllah semoga jodoh kita dipanjangkan hingga hujung nyawa....

Nak imbas balik kenangan dulu-dulu melalui gambar :-) Sekarang dah bertiga, takde gambo berdua dah :-(

Mak

"A mother's arms are made of tenderness and children sleep soundly in them"- Victor Hugo

Ermmm betoi kan, itu yang bila dah berjauhan dengan mak pun masih teringat ketiak mak.  How immature, some people might say.  Tapi Mak is someone who gave birth to you, berjaga malam mendengar tangisan kau, basuh berak kencing kau, basuh cadar kencing kau, beri kau susu dan makanan berkhasiat.  Dia jugak yang menurut kehendak kau yang bukan- bukan.  Mak yang pujuk kau bila nangis guling- guling.  Mata kau masuk habuk pun mak yang tiup kan... Mana mungkin nak lupakan Mak macam tu aje.

Mak, may Allah protect you.  Semoga Allah mengasihi beliau sepertimana beliau mengasihaniku sewaktu kecilku.  I miss you.  How I wish I could go back in time and undo some of things I did and said to you as a teenager.  I love you.  I look forward to many more Ramadan with you, listening to your voice because we are far away from each other.  I love you, Mak.

"I am sorry!"

How many times have you said these words and actually meant it? How many times have you had someone said these words to you, and you'd say you forgive them and meant it?

Small words, big meanings,eh? 3 words make a big difference to your life. Just like the words "I Love You".

Before saying these words, have you thought whether your actions deserve forgiveness? Whether you're only saying this for things to 'temporarily' get better while you fixes the wrong? Have you thought of the damage it has done to someone's heart? Do you know if that person really forgive you, like, truly deep in their heart?

Just a thought, really... And this is when I am trying to empty my thoughts.

Hati Oh Hati

Kenapa kau berperasaan yang sukar di mengerti... Patutla lagu soal hati tu cakap 'soalnya hati... Sukar di mengerti...'. Macam tulah keadaan hati aku sekarang dalam keadaan paling susah untuk aku tafsirkan. Sesuatu yang berlaku itu pasti ada hikmahnya...

Is your husband perfect?

Can you, really have a perfect spouse? In my case a perfect husband. It really depends on how you define perfect - perfect to what extend.

Does your husband give you flowers? Does he surprise you with jewelleries and presents? Does he keep your bank account happy? Is he the oh so romantic husband that everyone else envies?  Is this how you define a perfect husband?

Or would you rather that your husband is unromantic but he understands you, helps you with house works, with your kids? Know when you need help? Does he take turns to look after the kids when they're sick?

If you see it from my point of view my husband is very much perfect. He helps around the house such as washing dishes, keeping my EBM into the freezer, he'll cook for me once a week, take out the garbage. He helps with the clothes, washes them, hangs them, folds them when needed. He also looks after Amani, plays with her, helps take her upstairs, carries her around knowing that my back aches. Look after her when I eat.

But my husband can also be 'un'-perfect on so many levels. For example, he only takes out the garbage every few days and not everyday as you would've done. He often forget to check the other EBM bottles and assume that I will often come back with 2 bottles of 5 ounces ONLY everytime. So if there's a third bottle with 3 ounces or more, he often forgets and left them in the bag. He doesn't hang clothes the way you want him to, and often washes the clothes wrongly though he knew that I separate my clothes by delicate, non-delicate and colours. He also sometimes forget that I am also tired from working and hungry too.

So do perfect husband really exist? Or is this what every women dream of and it remains as a dream? I personally think that if you re-define your level of perfection and I am sure you will find your perfect husband.
