Mac lip pencil ~ harapan bertahan lama

Ok post pagi ni adalah bagi mengurangkan kesuraman hari Isnin hehehe,

Tak tau la korang yang ada toddler girl kat rumah menghadapi masalah yang sama ke tak.  I asyik- asyik the same thing happened to my lipstick - kena rosak dek my princess sulong.  Dulu masa dia belum tau apa- apa, dia panjat almari and gosok lipstick everywhere on her face.  Habis patah.  Dah berbatang- batang patah.  Pandai pulak dia pusing.

Then bila dah besar sikit ni, dah reti buka make up bag.  Dah tau mommy simpan make- up dekat mana.  Pon sama lah alkesahnya, lipstick rosak satu persatu...

Haritu I replenish alatan make-up (basic jer, I bukan MUA pon nak beli poyo-poyo kan) - my must have are normally just compact powder, mascara, eyeliner, blusher and lipstick or lipgloss.  Sesungguhnya bila dah anak 3 ni memang dah susah sangat nak tengok complete kat muka barang- barang atas ni... Yang I nak ceritakan ialah, masa replenish tu, I decided to buy lipstick yang bukan jenis biasa tu.  I beli jenis yg ala-2 macam crayon rupa dia.  nama dia Patent Polish Lip Pencil, macam gambar kat bawah tu...

Aa dah tengok macam crayon kan?  Dengan harapan Kakak tak reti nak pusing menda alah ni dan membazir sebatang lagi lipstick *sobbbsssssss*.  Walaupon Mommy slalu pakai gloss jer... hehehe kekadang lipstick membawa mood yang berbeza.  

Dia bila pakai takde feeling- feeling rasa wangi like some lipsticks tu (yikes), rasa cam smoooothhhh jer lips kite ni kan.  It doesn't dry your lips either.  I mean Mac lipsticks have been my favourite since I was able to afford such brands lah (dulu- dulu masa tak reti and tak mampu pakai yang murah sikit).  Tapi Mac pon actually taklah mahal sangat.  Lipstick dia normally RM60.  Yang this type, mahal sikit dalam RM85 (ok tidak boleh membeli dah pasni...)

Photo kat bawah ni gambar I pakai lipstick tu :).  Ok fine maybe tak clear sangat hahaha.  Takpelah janji I suka.  Pada mommies yang nak try tengok kalau- kalau this one 'kebal anak', sila lah.

Watson's Nose Pore Pack

Watson's Deep Cleansing Nose Pore Pack.  Aku beli ni sebab konon nye redeem point la kat Watson's (Membership punye point).  Baik punye adik Watson's tu convince aku, masa kat Kajang.  Disebabkan stress jaga anak kat KPMC time tu, beli jer la.

Komen aku tentang product ni, mula- mula adalah oucccccchhhhhhhhh.  Keperitan yang amat dirasakan masa nak buka bila dah kering.  Tak tau ler kot-2 sebab lama sangat pakai sebab ralit salin resipi hehe.  Tapi sungguh alahai.  Damn painful I tell you.

Mula- mula pakai dah memang minus point sebab hidung ku tak berapa nak mancung hehehe.  Agak la susah nak pakai kan.  Puas den tekan tekan tekann.

Aku rasa partly because gam dia tu kot.  Ntahla sama jenis ke tak, tapi kalo biasa pakai Biore ko tak rasa kot macam ni.

Ha last skali, memang deep cleansing sungguh sampai bulu idung pon tertanggal hehehe.  I mean bulu- bulu roma di tepi hidung lah.  Punye la banyak.  Bukan takat jerawat nasi jer yang tanggal.  Gamaknye pasni tumbuh bulu- bulu kasar tak tepi idung aku???  Belum pernah lagi aku pakai pore pack sampai jadi macam ni.

Persoalan nye sekarang, baru pakai 1, ada lagi 9 kot dalam pek tu.  Should I or should I not continue to use this?  Atau biarkan sahaja duit itu burn.  Atau... Bagi Ah Bob pakai... Hehehe.

Thanks Bobbi Brown.  Dapat invitation to collect two facial products sample.  Love samples.  Tapi ada kau sanggup meredah KL di kala weekend di mana semua orang nak shopping raya...

Unless, of course, weekend ni kita bershopping di Gardens dan Mid Valley.  Ermmmm...

Goodbye Natrulift, it didn't work for us....

When I was yet to replenish my Clinique facial cleanser, I decided to give Natrulift by Body Shop a try.  When I visited my local Body Shop they didn't have any travel pack so I had to purchase the normal 100g tube for RM68.  I didn't buy anything else as I had two bottles of Natrulift moisturising cream at home which I got as free gift when I replenished my Body Butter and others.  The rude shop assistant in Cheras Selatan had turned me off from buying seriously so that one tube was all I got that night.  

Natrulift is a skin firming range by Body Shop.    The product range has day cream, night cream, cleanser, toner, serum and softening cream cleanser.  These organic pomegranate products smell really great, I mean REALLY good (as always, Body Shop's products are very natural and likeable, and yummmy too)!!!  

However the result was not satisfying for me (even though the Sales Assistant had proudly said that ALL of them in Body Shop Cheras Selatan are using these range).  After 3 days of using, I had this huge pimple on my nose :(.  It was like being a teenager again, even though I did not have any pimple as a teenager.  Now I am back to using Clinique, I had stopped using Natrulift after a week.  

The cleanser, has this clean sensation when used.  So that was a plus point for me, at first since I love foamy products.  I think I could be sensitive to the fragrance since I noticed that all of the products I used did not have any fragrance (Neutrogena, Simple, Clinique).  They are also not the foamy type you know.

Another thing that I think I was alergic to was the firming day cream.  Since it is a cream instead of lotion, it feels very oily and thick.  It was a bit hard to apply too as compared to lotion.  So maybe this cream type does not suit me :-(

Too bad it didn't work between us Natrulift.  I am sure you've found companion in other women, better women.  As for me I will stick to my Clinique normal to dry combination skin range.  They work best for now.  Besides at this age I am too afraid for 'trial and error' as pimple doesn't look great or cool on ya.  Not on your nose.  Very distracting.

Thursday Plantation Acne Cream, did wonder to my skin!

OK before anyone started saying, aiyooo D where got pimples on your skin, I got ok... There's one in my forehead that's been there for months, and one just came out a few days ago.  I assume the latest one came from my daily jog, you know because I do it without cleaning the make up.  Believe me, I've got sensitive skin even though I don't look it.  

The Thursday Plantation Acne Cream, was actually bought for my husband when he had this long- term 'cyst' on his forehead.  We thought it was acne, but didn't go away with a bottle of face cleanser and cream.  I bet he didn't religiously use this cream.  The 'cyst' didn't want to leave him, so no the cream didn't work OK.  He left it there on my dressing table.

Then I got annoyed with this little pimple that I've been playing with on my forehead.  I've been meaning to apply the cream, but given my 'busy' schedule (yeah right) I keep forgetting.  Until last Monday morning, when I was getting ready for work.  I applied this cream, just very thin layer of it and apply my normal skin moisturizer to the rest of the skin.  I basically left this spot with the acne cream with just that.  So when I applied my compact powder I did the same, left this part out.  Yeah it did look kinda weird, but what wouldn't a woman do for a baby smooth skin, huh? 

What I didn't realise until last night (Tuesday night) was that something (the pimple) which had been with me for months had disappeared.  Miracle?  No.  The Thursday Plantation!  It must be it!  Now I sort of miss the pimple, cause I used to 'play' with it when thinking at work.  LOL. 

I think you might wana give it a try.  The cream doesn't feel oily and is transparent in colour.  It doesn't smell bad either, it smells, well like any facial cream would be.  It feels slight cold when you apply it, yepp it is cooling.  I got this from Guardian, can't remember how much because it was back in November 2011 if I can remember.  I think around RM30 or lower due to some promotion, I got this with the facial cleanser for Mr Hubby.  If you think your skin might react, apply a small amount at one spot first.  Remember, what's good for others may not necessarily be good for you.  Everyone's skin is different ya?

The three products I can't live without!

Hari ni nak share tiga products yang I think had worked so well on my skin, and I absolutely love them!  I have extremely dry skin and obvious dark circles no matter how much I slept.  Ketiga- tiga products ni I must say are the best human invention so far.  Percayalah hahaha.

Product 1: My dry skin companion - The Body Butter by Body Shop.

Yang ni aku pakai setiap hari selepas mandi pada seluruh badan dan pada tapak kaki sebelum tidur.  Aku ni memang bermasalah dry skin sikit.  Tapak kaki yarabbiiii, memang tak sanggup nak pegang dan rasa sendiri.  Kalau untuk tumit yang pecah- pecah tu, memang dah macam- macam product aku try.  Tapi I must say this one has worked well on me.  Beli time sale tu yang paling best, buy 1 free 1.  Kalau normal purchase price dia ialah RM55 untuk tub besar ni.  

Body butter ni  datang dalam dua size.  Yang besar tu range 50+ (differ pada jenis bau dia, ada olive, strawberry, cocoa butter dan macam- macam lagi).  Selalunya untuk extremely dry skin, memang kena pakai either Shea Butter dan Cocoa Butter.  Olive pun ok jugak.  Ini adalah favourite Mommy dan juga Ayesha!  Texture dia berbeza untuk body butter ni, this one in particular adalah sangat pekat.  

Aku pakai shea butter ni nampak hasil dia selepas dua hari pakai kat tapak kaki sebelum tidur.  Tapi biasalah, Mommy ni culas sket part berlotion ni sebab bila tidurkan anak, maknye tido skali.  Hasilya?  Kulit jadi silky smooth dan ermmmm wangiiii macam nak makan.  Dah lama dah aku menjadi pengguna setia benda alah ni tau!

Product 2: Cocoa Butter Lip Care Stick by Body Shop.

Aku tak tau apa requirement korang untuk lip balm atau moisturizer, tapi bagi aku yang penting dua benda i) tak mau ada rasa dalam mulut lepas pakai dan, ii) mengurangkan chapped lip.  Aku ni kat bibir pun selalu kering, sebab duduk dalam air cond dan kuat sangat minum kopi.  Jadi, memang tak rugi la beli Cocoa Butter Lip Care Stick ni.  Ini merupakan lip stick paling best aku pernah jumpa.  Dah pakai Nivea, Maybelline semua aku tak minat.  Especially Maybelline punya sebab kalau perasan, bila pakai dia macam tinggalkan rasa 'wangi' kat dalam mulut.  

Cocoa Butter Lip Care Stick ni, berbau wangi tapi tak tinggalkan rasa pelik kat mulut!  Memang sangat- sangat berkesan.  Aku ulang, sangat- sangat.  Bibir rasa halus, lembut, dan tak ada rekahan.  Tak oily, just very moisturizing!  Boleh pakai sebelum pakai lipstick, tapi aku recommend pakai la dalam 15 minutes sebelum.  Takut nanti oil dia mungkin menyebabkan lipstick tak berapa melekat.  Harga?  RM19 untuk size sebesar normal lipstick.  Worth every penny!

Product 3: Clinique All About Eyes Rich

OK product yang ni aku terus terang aku tak beli pun hehehe.  Yang ni aku dapat miniature bila aku beli barangan Clinique above RM300+.  Tapi memang ada jual la kat booth Clinique dalam size 0.5 ounce dan 1 ounce.  Harga tak pasti.  

Aku pakai Clinique All About Eyes Rich ni dua kali sehari, baru try pakai hari ketiga ni sempena aku post this article.  Pakai malam sebelum tidur, dan pagi sebelum bermake up.  

Product ni bertujuan untuk mengurangkan puffiness, dark-eye circles, shadows and fine lines.  Sepanjang aku pakai, hasil dia memang positive sebab aku rasa lines bawah mata aku dah agak kurang kasar- kasar dia.  Rasanya bahagian bawah mata pun dah mula rasa kelihatan 'fresh' sebab undereye circles dah agak berkurangan.  Pendapat aku, kalau pakai long- term hasil dia akan lebih ketara.  Dia tak berminyak, mudah menyerap, bau natural so tak annoying.  Kalau hidung korang macam hidung aku yang suka alergic bersin bila product terlalu wangi, jangan risau bagi aku cream ni berbau natural.  Texture dia nipis dan berwarna peach lembut.  Gosok pelan- pelan in circular motion kat bawah mata tu, dia akan meresap dengan cepat!

All in all, these are by far the best skin and beauty products I have on my dressing table right now.  Memang I repeat, worth every penny!
